The Story Behind Bandicoot AI.
I'm Mitchell Lamb — founder of Bandicoot AI, based on the Gold Coast. In my early twenties I was working as a boat captain and marine engineer, which naturally made me the go-to tech person on board. In 2023, I started building small applications and AI tools for myself — databases to store ship manuals, engineering knowledge bases, and anything that made the job easier.
When people saw what I was building, they started asking me to set up similar things for them. At first, I didn't take it seriously — I figured this stuff would be everywhere by tomorrow. Years later, almost no businesses have the access or know-how to build these tools for themselves. That gap is why Bandicoot AI exists.
